So just a quick entry where I'm going to sort of promote myself I guess?

Me and a couple of friends that I've known for years and have been gaming with for years have started a podcast. We're still a little bit rough around the edges, Episode 1 is out and we just recorded Episode 2 today. We talk about video games mostly (of course) but also share funny stories and just have a couple laughs. If it's something you think you might be into, check it out, or if you have a friend show it to them? We could use a bit more exposure.

To be honest I know it's just recording a "internet radio show" and I'm not getting any dollary doos from it, but it does feel good to just be doing something if that makes any sense.

That sounds like a fun little project! I have some friends who are into video game podcasts; I'll share the link with them.

It was shaky at first, but recording the second episode was a lot of fun.

You guys did a great job on this first video ♥. You covered some interesting topics (I got a little nostalgic when EB games was mentioned lol) I think just have an outline of the topics you want to chat about and just roll with it.

We had a better outline for the second episode which should be up sometime soon, so should be a lot better. :)

Are you gonna be like those guys on IGN that sit around and talk about video games? Because..that would be some damn easy money. lol.

That's the end goal I believe. I've been posting it up anywhere I could think of except my own Facebook, which I might do next. If we get popular enough we could get picked up by one of those umbrella groups and make some green.

Haha, thank you! family has always told me I have a voice for radio, and Jennifer (our Jennifer) told me my voice was a "panty dropper" kind of voice.

Episode 2 is already recorded and should be up sometime within the week I hope. It should be better because I think we were a bit looser, more relaxed. :)

Yup, yup! I've actually been practicing on my own, like having imaginary "radio" talks with myself. or doing pretend interviews.

Also that icon is so cute, I haven't looked at Yuffie+Vincent stuff in yeaaaaaaaars. ;-;

Cool, that's good that you guys are doing something so fun like this! I sub'd and listened to the first bit of the first one! I'll try to use my work time to listen to more hahaha. You and your friends have a good dynamic! One of you (I think Alec?) has a mic that is a bit hard to understand. I think a schedule would be really great, so there was less time considering what the next topic would be! It definitely seemed to flow a lot better towards the end of what I heard (the first 25-30 minutes) though!

also i'm picturing all of you going and watching 50 shades of grey together and it's pretty hilarious

Yeah Alec's mic is always a bit quiet, and he talks quiet. Before we recorded the second episode we told him to speak up a bit and it should be a bit better. We're all looking at mics to invest in as well.

We're more ugh scheduled in the second episode which should be up sometime soon.
